‘Batman: Reptilian #4’ (review)

Written by Garth Ennis
Art by Liam Sharp
Published by DC Comics

This is another decent issue of this series. I am really liking where this is headed and there are a lot of nice moments throughout the book. The writing is nice and tight and the places we go here are pretty fun overall.

We finally get a glance at the monster of the series in this issue!

It is a pretty damn scary monster too and Batman is going to be in for the fight of his life. The design of the monster in particular is very scary.

Batman goes on the hunt for the monster, trying to leave no stone unturned.

The problem is, every question leads Batman to more questions. Things start to spiral out of control for the hero and nothing may be what he thought it was.

Batman decides to take his search for the creature under the streets. He finds Killer Croc and decides to enlist his help. But can Killer Croc be trusted? Is Batman opening up a can of worms that he cannot possibly close?

The story again by Ennis is very strong. The dialogue in particular is very good. I like the art by Liam Sharp as well here. It is strong and very well done.

Overall, this is another good issue of this series.

RATING: A
