‘Alice, Darling’ Arrives on Blu-ray + Digital and DVD March 14th!

From first-time director Mary Nighy and starring Anna Kendrick, Kaniehtiio Horn, and Wunmi Mosaku, Alice, Darling arrives March 14 on Blu-ray + Digital and DVD from Lionsgate. The psychological thriller follows a woman trapped in an abusive relationship who becomes the unwitting participant in an intervention staged by her two closest friends.

Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick (Best Supporting Actress, Up in the Air, 2009) is Alice in this taut thriller about a woman pushed to the breaking point by her psychologically abusive boyfriend, Simon. While on vacation with two close girlfriends, Alice rediscovers the essence of herself and gains some much-needed perspective. Slowly, she starts to fray the cords of codependency that bind her. But Simon’s vengeance is as inevitable as it is shattering – and, once unleashed, it tests Alice’s strength, her courage, and the bonds of her deep-rooted friendships.

The initial press and reactions after the Toronto International Film Festival praised Anna’s performance, calling it her best work since Up in the Air, and opened a conversation about how films approach intimate partner violence. This subtle, nuanced, and authentic story about coercion and control will be available for the suggested retail prices of $21.99 for Blu-ray + Digital and $19.98 for DVD.
