I really love the way that DC Comics handles their anthology books like this.

This issue starts off with a great story written by Mark Waid and drawn by Audrey Mok. It is a story about Mister Mxyzptlk. We head over to the Fifth Dimension and get a story from this villain’s point of view. It is very fun and entertaining and it really is a great first story.

Francis Manapul writes and draws the next story in this book. Superman heads into a planet and see that Bizarro needs some help. Superman then proceeds and helps Bizarro out of the predicament that he finds himself. It is a pretty straightforward story but it is good and the artwork itself is just outstanding.

Next up, Robert Venditti writes a story that is drawn by Alitha Martinez. It is a story that flashes back to Smallville and show us a lesson that Clark learns. That lesson helped Clark out in his present circumstances. It is a nice story that works well and I liked the artwork here as well

Another story featuring Bizarro is up next. It has Michael W. Conrad writing it with artwork by the great Cully Hamner. I really enjoyed this and I really love Hamner’s artwork in general. The story is a bit slight but I still loved it.

Finally, Rich Dousek writes a story for artist Joe Quinones. It features an annoying character named Prescott getting taught a lesson by Superman. It is not my favorite story. But the other four stories are so cool, that I forgave it.

Overall, this is a good issue.
