Portsmouth Comic Con – International Festival of Comics returns this weekend, bigger and better than ever, bringing you the best of comic, film, TV and pop culture entertainment in the largest event of its kind to hit the South!
With a brand new superstructure for 2019 we are almost doubling the footprint of the event to welcome some of the greatest artists and writers in the industry alongside stars of the screen with an exceptional range of panels, exhibitions, displays and the magical world of cosplay.
Pay homage to the legend that is Stan Lee and immerse yourself in VR, motion capture, robots, retro and board games, Steampunk and a fantastic range of merch and collectables.
If you’re serious about comics, love Marvel films, Star Wars, cult series like Dr Who or are simply looking for a fun day out for all the family, this is the event for you!

Among the comic guests, you’ll find Roy Thomas, Steve Englehart, Tomm Corker, Sean Phillips, The Etherington Brothers, Liam Sharp, Tommy Lee Edwards, Kieron Gillen, Chris Weston, Declan Shalvey, Jamie Delano, Gary Erksine, Laurence Campbell, Rob Williams, Alison Sampson, Jean-Marc Lofficier, Joseph Illidge, Scott Dunbier and Tripwire’s own Joel Meadows.
In addition, there will be special panels celebrating 20 Years of IDW Publishing and celebrating the life and career of Stan Lee.
