This has been a decent series thus far and this issue is pretty good as well.
The creative team is really doing a nice job of keeping things pretty interesting and fast paced. I wonder what some of the ramifications of this issue are going to be as well.
We get to see a big development in this issue.
The Crime Syndicate has combined their forces for the first time. Their aim is to take over the world in a pretty big way and actually make some big changes.
We get to see some of that plan in motion.
But there are a lot of forces in play.
Susperia, Johnny Quick, Atomica, and Emerald Knight are facing off against a really big Starro! We get to see some of that battle and it is pretty excellent. But even if they defeat Starro, they have a lot more problems to contend with.
One of those biggest problems is each other!
They are all at each other’s throats and are in a power struggle. If they survive all of this, they still have one major threat coming down the pike. That would be Earth 3’s Alexander Luthor.
There is a backup story as well in this issue that is wonderfully drawn by Bryan Hitch. It is the origin of Superwoman. It is a pretty dark and entertaining tale. The whole issue is.
This seems to only be getting better with each passing issue.
