creatorvc Announces Their Next Project, ‘The Thing Expanded’

creatorvc, the team behind smash-successes Aliens Expanded and In Search of Darkness. have announced the development of their most ambitious documentary yet: The Thing Expanded. Using the ‘expanded’ format to deep dive into one of the best horror films ever made, the team is requesting fan-feedback to drive the development of the film. They are looking for comments and direction on what true fans of John Carpenter’s The Thing want to see in their film. Director Ian Nathan, the brilliant mind behind Aliens Expanded, is directing The Thing Expanded.

Ian Nathan explained to Forces of Geek why the film was selected for a detailed documentary, “The Thing couldn’t be more perfect for the Expanded treatment – Carpenter’s masterpiece offers so many layers, so much mystery, and such a bleak but fascinating portrait of humanity under extreme pressure. I can’t wait to get my teeth into it. And I don’t doubt that there are theories and thoughts from the devoted fans that are going to blow my mind.”

To achieve something special, creatorvc is reaching out to The Thing fan community – to share your unique insights, questions, and opinions with them. Help shape the documentary now by joining their fan consultation: watch the introductory video, read the synopsis, and then provide your feedback!
