‘Batman: Reptilian #3’ (review)

Written by Garth Ennis
Art by Liam Sharp
Published by DC Comics

This book has been very entertaining since the very first issue.

I know that writer Garth Ennis doesn’t write many superhero stories but this one seems to fit the bill well. The story is a lot of fun and I have to say I have laughed a lot and just generally had a good time.

The villain who has been destroying all of the different places in Gotham has the residents in fear. The whole place is trembling at the mere mention of this creature. What can people do? Is this the end of Gotham as we know it?

Batman has a lot to say about that.

He is determined to stop the creature by any means possible. We get to see some of his investigation into finding the creature and putting an end to him.

This may prove trickier than he originally thought.

The Dark Knight Detective starts to believe that the Joker has something to do with the investigation. He decides to pivot his investigation towards the Joker and seeing what he knows.

This book then takes a turn that I didn’t see coming.

The story by Garth Ennis is very well done. I love every bit of dialogue here. The artwork by Liam Sharp is absolutely fantastic. He has never been better and this is quite good.

Overall, this is an excellent issue of a fantastic series.
