The first issue of this title was pretty damn exciting. Seeing the Future State versions of both Superman and Wonder Woman team up has been both interesting and exciting. The plot has been a bit thin but it is more than made up for with some really cool action scenes.
In the previous issue, two gods were fighting above the Earth.
As a result, the Earth was in trouble of being destroyed completely!
It was up to Wonder Woman and Superman to stop this from happening. And that is where we are at the start of this issue.
We see Superman and Wonder Woman at the Fortress of Solitude at the beginning of the issue.
They are wrapping up some business and trying to form a solid plan. Basically what ends up happening here is that the duo have to figure out a way to face off against the sun and save the entire planet.
Can they do so?
It seems like they can. Well, that is if they can put aside their differences long enough. We get to see the two of them bicker and it is a bit of fun. Then, they enact their plan. A lot is at stake if they don’t succeed!
Watters writes a simple, yet effective script. It works well enough. They art by Leila Del Duca is the real star here. The artwork really stands out and I commend her for her efforts. It is very good.
Overall, this is another decent entry in the Future State line of books.
