The Wrap reports that Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth has been offered the lead in Roland Emmerich’s sequel to Independence Day.
Will Smith was in talks to return but ultimately decided to pass on sequel, while Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman are expected to reprise their roles.
Fantastic Four‘s Michael B. Jordan is said to be rumored for another lead role in the film.
