New TARANTINO Documentary Tells Us What We Already Know

Twitch Film has the first look at a new French documentary entitled Tarantino: The Disciple Of Hong Kong.

As any cinegeek knows, Mr. Tarantino is not shy about his influences and this documentary includes an interview with director Ringo Lam, whose film, City On Fire, has long been identified as the source material for Tarantino’s first success, Reservoir Dogs.

In 1994, filmmaker and author Mike White was the first to publicize Tarantino’s influence, which has since been acknowledged as a “homage” in his docu-short, Who Do You Think You’re Fooling?

Check out the trailer for Tarantino: The Disciple Of Hong Kong after the jump.
