Every so often a book comes along and I get to look at it and think, “how the hell am I going to review this?”

It’s not that the book is bad by any stretch of the imagination, but more that it is so wholly unique in presentation that it is tough to review.

Such is the case with this book here.

This book is pretty much just a series of pictures with accompanying text about female wrestlers. But hey, the drawings are by Jaime Hernandez, so there really is a lot to love with this. The drawings themselves are a lot of fun and Hernandez does toy with some of the context with this.

We get to see some of the way Hernandez gets some of the creation of these characters done. We get to hear his own words in describing them and the world building involved. But you have to be into this kind of thing.

I am definitely not the target audience for something like this.

I can appreciate it for what it is though.

If this sounds like something somebody is into?

They are going to love it.

For everyone else it will have some nice drawings and some interesting ideas by a comic book master
