Running Wilde officially sits on the precarious bubble.
Shooting for the end of the Fox sitcom’s 13-episode order finished Monday, series star Will Arnett announced on Twitter. He didn’t sound too enthused about the show’s future, either.
“Thanks to all who watched. Bittersweetness, I am firmly in your grasp,” Arnett said.
A few minutes later, Arnett dropped another tweet: “To clarify, Running Wilde has not been cancelled, we’re simply in limbo.”
Wilde drew 5.4 million viewers for its last episode Oct. 26, with a 2.2 rating among adults 18-49.
Meanwhile, Running Wilde finally will get an appearance of Steve Wilde Sr., the horrible rich man who warped Arnett’s main character forever. Arrested Development alum Jeffrey Tambor will play Wilde Sr., TV Guide reports. Tambor is slated to appear in episode 13.
