Watch DANNY ELFMAN’S MUSIC FROM THE FILMS OF TIM BURTON

Last Friday, composer and performer Danny Elfman descended on Lincoln Center with an 88-piece orchestra and 44-voice choir to perform selections of his work with director Tim Burton.  Included in this performance were selections from collaborations with Burton including Batman, Beetlejuice, Alice in Wonderland, Big Fish, Edward Scissorhands and The Nightmare Before Christmas (which featured Elfman singing his iconic songs).

Film clips, and sketches and storyboards created by Burton accompany Elfman’s magical music.

Watch it after the jump.
