‘THE O.C.’ Comes To Turkey and Other Unexpected International Television Adaptations

Med Cezir, or as I like to call it, “The M.C.” is headed to Turkish television.  The series, is an adaptation of Josh Schwartz’s The O.C. and certainly looks to be an accurate remake (my lack of speaking anything other than English and a little Pig-Latin certainly precludes me from certifying it 100%).

This is far from the first adaptation of an American series by foreign television. Or even the weirdest. Check out some of the many others after the jump.

Dexter (Turkey)

Gossip Girl (China)

Everybody Loves Raymond (Russia)

The Nanny (Italy)

The Golden Girls (Dutch)

Married With Children (England)

Law & Order (Paris)

Who’s The Boss? (England)

The Jeffersons (Turkey)

How I Met I Your Mother (Russia)

The real question is which of these would you actually watch? Sound off in the comments!
