The Review
Kudos again to Warner Home video in releasing the second half of the season with a single release as opposed to the previous releases which contained a mere four episodes.  After struggling with the new character designs, voices and setup in the first few episodes, I’ve become a fan on the reimagined characters.  The biggest change is that the familiar characters are placed in a more traditional sitcom setting, which actually works a bit; the more modern sensibilities refreshes the characters and if nothing else, provide an original take on the source material.  Extras are no-existant, but each episode contains a Merry Melodies short and a CGI Road Runner cartoon.  Purists might balk a bit at the take, but I thought the series was funny, engaging and a must see for Toon Geeks of any age,  The Looney Tunes Show is highly recommended.
