TERRA NOVA picks up final cast regular

Terra Nova is moving along in earnest. Production is starting next week in Australia, and the show is set to bow in May 2011. And now Fox has completed the cast of regulars for the time-traveling drama.

Christine Adams (The Whole Truth, or as that button-pushing dog instructor on Pushing Daisies) is joining the series, Entertainment Weekly reports. Adams will play Mira, a battle-hardened resident of the Terra Nova colony.

Terra Nova centers on the Shannons, a family from a dying Earth in 2149 who travels back in time 85 million years to the prehistoric colony.

Jason O’Mara (Life on Mars) stars as family patriarch Jim Shannnon. Stephen Lang (Avatar), Shelley Conn (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Mido Hamada (24), Allison Miller (Boston Legal) and Landon Liboiron (Degrassi: The Next Generation) are also attached.
