STAR WARS EPIC YARNS: Cozy Classic Trilogy (book review)

By Elizabeth Weitz

Look, we all know how this review is going to go. I like Star Wars, you like Star Wars, and here we have an ultra cute trilogy of baby board books filled with the felted likeness of our favorite characters in iconic scenes doing what they do best…being all Star Wars-y.

It’s not as if I’m going to suddenly do a 180 and decree that it sucks Wookie nuts. I mean how could I? Look at this thing:

 It’s freaking adorable.

And, if you are experiencing a baby boom of epic proportions in your circle of friends like I am, these baby books make the perfect New Offspring gift that nerd parents won’t get sick of reading to their Lil’ Sand People over and over again…a huge plus because, as we all know, kids are all about the reread.

And seeing that the guys behind these books are the same ones who brought you the Cozy Classics that made all my Literary parent friends crap their pants in glee a couple of years ago (we’re talking about the felted goodness of Jane Austin, Mark Twain, Leo Tolstoy and others) you know it’s going to be a high quality read.

Besides, do you really want an impressionable toddler learning the word “Swing” in any other capacity but this one?

Yeah, I didn’t think so.

So please, if you have to start buying baby gifts this summer, do yourself a favor and get a gross of the Star Wars Cozy Classic Trilogy.

The parents of their own micro-sized Jabba the Hutt will thank you.
