‘Snow Angels: Season Two #2’ (review)

Written by Jeff Lemire
Art by Jock
Published by Comixology

This second season of sorts continues with this issue.

I am happy with the way it’s done and the direction that this book is going in. The creative team really knows how to keep things cooking and this issue continues that trend. I am loving where this is headed with each and every issue.

The family is in a bit of trouble.

They find themselves cornered and their backs against the wall. They literally have nowhere to go and they may be facing death. This is just the calm before the storm. That is when a nice action scene breaks out.

The action scene erupts suddenly and it gets completely out of control. Nobody draws an action scene quite like Jock. Jock does a great job of keeping everything moving along at a rapid pace.

By the end of the issue, things are looking bleak.

The issue itself moved so quickly that it does become hard to catch your breath. I didn’t mind though. It definitely does have some character moments as well. But for the most part, it’s just an all out action issue.

The story by Lemire is good. It is a strong script, well done and focused. The art is very good as well. The two of these creators work extremely well together.

Overall, this is a great issue again of this series.

RATING: A
