SETH MacFARLANE To Ruin THE FLINTSTONES

Deadline reports that Fox’s bitch, Seth MacFarlane has struck a deal to reimagine the classic Hanna Barbera series for television (and possibly film) beginning in 2013.

Warner Bros Television, who own The Flinstones property, and Fox sorted out a fairly complicated deal to make this project happen.  Apparently, “sitcom’s rightholders were somewhat concerned how the classic series would be interpreted given MacFarlane’s brand of raunchy comedies like Family Guy.”

Why would you worry?

After the jump watch a classic Flintstones cigarette commercial. Still better for you than Family Guy.
