‘Nightwing #83’ (review)

Written by Tom Taylor
Art by Bruno Redondo
Published by DC Comics

This has been a really great book with some excellent plot lines. Tom Taylor and Bruce Redondo have been doing a spectacular job month in and month out making this one of the better series that DC has been putting out.

Suffice to say, this title has come a long way in a short time.

This issue features an all out fight for the city of Bludhaven! The whole city has been falling apart at a pretty substantial rate but this issue shows how Dick Grayson wants to stop that from keep happening. We get to see some of the things he has come up with.

Dick has inherited a whole ton of money, too.

He has decided to use that money to do some good. He has come up with a plan and has figured out the steps that he is going to take to make it all happen.

We start to see that plan become enacted on here.

We also get to see that there is a mysterious player coming into the city for the first time. This figure looks to buy the city and make it their own. But do they have  more nefarious ideas in mind for it?

Things really start coming to a head!

The writing by Tom Taylor is pretty excellent. The story is smart and moves quickly. The art by Bruce Redondo is pretty damn well done as well. I love this book and it only seems to be getting stronger with each passing issue.

RATING: B+
