JAMES GANDOLFINI (1961-2013)

TMZ is currently reporting that actor James Gandolfini died of a heart attack in Italy where he was attending the 59th Taormina Film Festival in Sicily.

The actor was best known for his portraying Tony Soprano on the HBO series The Sopranos, for which he won three Emmy awards.

Among his other notable work was appearances in such films as True Romance, Crimson Tide, Get Shorty, The Last Castle, In the Loop, The Taking of Pelham, Killing Them Softly, Zero Dark, Not Fade Away and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.

and producing the documentaries Alive Day Memories: Home from Iraq and Wartorn: 1861-2010, which was about soldiers dealing with Post Traumatic Stress.
