Infographic: THE GOONIES – NEVER SAY DIE!

In the 30 years since its release, The Goonies has been widely recognized as a cult classic.

While firmly rooted in the 1980s—Cyndi Lauper and the Bangles on the soundtrack is proof enough of that—the story is truly timeless. After all, a movie about oddball kids outsmarting dimwitted criminals and saving their neighborhood from demolition could easily be released this year!

And who doesn’t dream about crawling through old tunnels, disarming Rube Goldberg-like traps, and finding pirate treasure? (That CAN’T just be us.) The most wonderful thing about The Goonies, though, is its cast. Over the past 30 years, many of its then young and unknown actors have found great success throughout the entertainment industry. If you find yourself asking “where else do I know them from?”, read on!
