‘Infinite Frontier: Secret Files #1’ (review)

Written and Illustrated by Various
Published by DC Comics

This is a book that ties perfectly in with the current series going on now. It provides some nicely done stories.

The book starts off with a story about Director Bones. It is written by Brandon Thomas with artwork by Valentine Del Landro. It is a lot of fun and it works as a framing device.

We follow that into a story about President Superman by the same creative team. It is an enjoyable adventure and the artwork is very good.

It really shows us a different aspect of the character and the way that he handles things.

The next story that is up is a story written by Stephanie Philips and drawn by Inaki Miranda. It features Roy Harper on a solo adventure.

It gets pretty intense and the creative team does a great job. The flashback scene at the beginning works incredibly well too.

Writer Dan Watters and artist Stephen Byrne are up next and they tell us a story of Jade and Obsidian. It is well done and the art by Byrne is good.

After that,  Brandon Thomas and artist Inaki Miranda are back with a great Martian Manhunter story that really works well.

Stephanie Phillips is back writing a story for artist Phil Hester after that. It is well done and deals with  Captain

Boomerang Lastly, we have a story about the Psycho Pirate by writer Dan Watters and artist Christopher Mittten. This is an awesome last story and I love the ending.

Well done overall!

RATING: A
