HUGH LAURIE To Battle ROBOCOP

It looks like the RoboCop reboot is front loading itself with some major talent. 

After announcements that Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman and Abbie Cornish were joining Joel Kinnaman in Jose Padilha’s reboot, the film officially has a frontrunner for it’s bad guy.

The inimitable Hugh Laurie is in discussions to portray the villainous, ultra-rich CEO of Omni Corp, which creates RoboCop character for it’s own nefarious purposes.

Laurie most recently completed his eighth and final season as Dr. Gregory House on the television series, House MD.
