This anthology series is a cut above the rest. I love the stories in this and I love the quality that the creative teams have put into this.

It all starts off with a great continuing story written by Chip Zdarksy with art by Eddy Barrows.

That story is pretty damn good. It features Batman and the Red Hood doing a bit of detective work. They are hot on the trail of the Cheerdrop drug that is tearing apart Gotham City. That is when they come up against the villainous Mr. Freeze.

It is a well written and well drawn story and I just loved it.

The next story is a Batwing story that is written by Camrus Johnson and drawn by Loyiso Mkize. It is pretty well done and executed.  It is a very exciting tale that make me want Johnson to write this character all the time. He has a great handle on him (and he plays him on tv!)

Tim Drake is the star of the next story here. It is written by Meghan Fitzmartin and drawn by Belen Ortega. Tim has returned to the streets of Gotham and he is looking to fight against something call the Chaos Monster. Things get out of control pretty quickly. This is a pretty cool story as well.

The last story is awesome, too. It is the continuing Grifter story written by Matthew Rosenberg and it is also drawn by Ryan Benjamin. It rounds up the whole book and leaves us on a good note.

This is a fine book indeed and I loved every page of it.

RATING: A
