‘Batman/Superman #10’ (review)

Written by Joshua Williamson
Art by Clayton Henry
Published by DC Comics

This has been a fairly solid team up book thus far. Writer Joshua Williamson gives us an entertaining story month in and month out. This book has been good from the very beginning and this issue continues that trend.

The book starts a bit in the past.

The opening scene has Superman flying through the streets of Metropolis. He is going up against the Ultra-Humanite. This is the end of the fight but it doesn’t end so well for the Ultra-Humanite.

This scene sets up the rest of the story.

The story then cuts over to the present day.

We head over to Batcave.

Bruce is examining the body of the Atomic Skull. Bruce is a bit overwhelmed. He regroups with Clark and together they refocus their attentions.

They eventually catch on to a plot containing none other than the Ultra-Humanite. The World’s Finest go up against him and his army. It is cool and exciting and the creative team keeps the tension extremely high.

We are left off with a cliffhanger that made me want the next issue immediately.

Artist Clayton Henry is a good fit for this book as he and Williamson work great together.

It a decent comic overall and I look forward to what comes next!

RATING: B+
