‘Tron: Ares’ Arrives on Digital December 2; 4K Blu-ray/DVD on January 6th

Get a head start on the future this holiday season when the epic sci-fi action-adventure Tron: Ares arrives December 2 on digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home. Just in time for winter break viewing, the newest chapter in the Tron saga invites fans to experience a bold new world and a high-velocity spectacle right from home. The edge-of-your-seat action expands in the new year when Tron: Ares powers onto 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and DVD beginning January 6, 2026.

When a highly sophisticated Program named Ares is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, it marks humankind’s first encounter with AI beings.

Expanding upon the original Tron and Tron: Legacy series, director Joachim Rønning’s Tron: Ares explores the battleground between AI and humanity, with state-of-the-art visual effects, adrenaline-rushed action, and a cutting-edge soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails to heighten the experience. Critics dialed into the rush of Tron: Ares, calling it “a fast-paced, thrilling movie that launches at full throttle and never slows down,” (Jonathan Sim, Coming Soon) and celebrating that “Rønning and cinematographer Jeff Cronenweth’s canvas pops with color, contrast and motion, while Nine Inch Nails’ techno-forward score literally rattles your seat” (Joseph Morona, Cleveland.com).

For collectors who love TRON for both its legacy and its future-forward storytelling, the limited-edition SteelBook brings purpose and programming to any personal film library. Featuring custom artwork and packaging that evokes the franchise’s glow, speed, and high-tech aesthetic, Tron: Ares continues a saga that has secured its place in the collections of sci-fi adventure fans.

And for those who want the full journey from past to present, the Tron franchise 3-Movie Collection offers the entire evolution of the Grid in one bundle. The set includes the 1982 classic Tron, the visually groundbreaking Tron: Legacy, and the newest chapter, Tron: Ares. All three will be available together as a digital and DVD collection. Three films. One iconic franchise. Infinite adventure.
