“You’ll Float, Too”: Warner Bros. Releases the First Trailer for ‘It’

Beep, beep Ritchie! There’s a new Pennywise in town.

Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema is hoping to traumatize a new generation with coulrophobia with it’s latest take on Stephen King’s It. The studio released a horrifying to teaser trailer, guaranteed to keep kids away from clowns, sewers, other little kids, the rain and possibly old-timey slide projectors.

While nothing can replace the sheer creepiness of Tim Curry’s original performance, Bill Skarsgård gives it his all as the new terror of Derry, Pennywise the Clown.

Here. Have some nightmare fuel:

The Loser Club is made up of  Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special) as Bill Denbrough, Jeremy Ray Taylor (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip) as Ben Hanscom , Sophia Lillis (37) as Beverly Marsh, Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) as Richie Tozier, Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Stan Uris, Chosen Jacobs (Cops and Robbers) as Mike Hanlon, Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween) as Eddie Kaspbrak and Nicholas Hamilton (Captain Fantastic) as bully Henry Bowers.

The remake is directed by Mama helmer Andrés Muschietti and penned by Gary Dauberman, Chase Palmer and Cary Joji Fukunaga.

It is in theaters on September 8.
