X-MEN: FIRST CLASS Trailer Arrives

After following the development of this film with much interest and a certain amount of disappointment based on what I had seen, I’m more than pleasantly surprised that Matthew Vaughan’s reboot of the X-Men franchise looks pretty damned good.

Focusing on the Cold War and the evolution of both the dissolution of the friendship between Charles Xavier and future Magneto, Erik Lensherr, X-Men: First Class might not satisfy all fans of the previous films but it certainly looks like Vaughan has a vision and that’s nothing to dismiss in some big budget summer films.

Might Fox’s Marvel properties have a renaissance with this and Darren Arronofsky’s The Wolverine?

Trailer after the jump.
