‘Wonder Woman: Dead Earth #3’ (review)

Written and Illustrated by Daniel Warren Johnson
Published by DC Comics

This incredible and breathtaking series continues with this issue.

Daniel Warren Johnson is a tour de force on this title. His writing is fantastic! The art is out of this world as well. All of this combined leads to a Wonder Woman story unlike any that have come before it!

At the beginning of the issue, we see a tribal person recounting some of the things that have happened with Wonder Woman and the Dead Earth itself. We see why Themyscira was bombed. We then get to see the lead up to where we happen to be presently. Then, we catch up with Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman has made it to the Fortress of Solitude. She is looking for some help in her current plight. Sadly, when she opens the door, she sees nothing but death and destruction. It is pretty brutal to look at honestly.

We get to see what happened to Superman in this reality. It is a pretty horrifying scene too. The whole storyline comes to a head by the end of the issue. Johnson ends this issue on on hell of a dark moment and I have no idea how he is going to end this!

Daniel Warren Johnson does a hell of job creating this book. The story as strong as can be. The art and the storytelling is downright spectacular. This is one of the best Wonder Woman stories that I have come across and I can’t wait to see how Warren wraps it all up!
