The Hunger Games Honors Panem’s District Heroes

With the upcoming release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part One, what better time to remind oneself that living in Panem must suck.

Besides the ridiculousness of the people in the Capitol, everyone is stuck in a district where you all must essentially do one thing.  My luck, I’d wind up in the district cleaning gutters or doing laundry.

That being said, I totally dig The Hunger Games movies, which is now running a pretty neat viral campaign:

In honor of our brave brothers and sisters of Panem, we’re pleased to share the DISTRICT HEROES COLLECTION.

Yesterday, The Capitol, under the authority of the Capitol Ministry of Information, released seven District Heroes across Yahoo and Tumblr. Please take a minute to reflect and learn more about these esteemed district citizens at the links below.

We also strongly encourage you and your readers to register for updates from Capitol TV. Remember, we are #OnePanem.

Register HERE and after the jump check out some of the portraits of other district heroes of Panem.
