This is as basic and as dull as you can get. I don’t even know where to start. I guess I’ll start on the first page.
The Fearsome Five are on the loose and it’s up to the Titans to stop them.
So then the Titans talk a lot. They plan and think up strategies to take these villains down. The Tim Drake Robin has an idea. The Titans discuss. And then they go about their way trying to defeat the Fearsome Five and save the world.
The Titans form a sneak attack on the villains. The two teams fight. Jurgens writes very stock characters with even more stock dialogue.
There’s nothing that makes this special or memorable. It just sort of happens to the reader.
By the end, Raven shows her powers as the daughter of Trigon. And that’s where we end off. Mercifully, it’s a short story here that is put forth.
The art by Eaton is dull and lifeless. There’s no flair nor anything that makes you want to continue reading. This is a missed opportunity overall and I wish I could find something in it to like. I just couldn’t.
RATING: D
