We regularly check out SuperHeroStuff.com’s large t-shirt selection, but this time I decided to look at some of their other selections, Funko Pop! vinyls. In case you live in a cave (which is weird, unless it’s the Batcave in which case you win), the Pop! vinyls are approximately 4″ tall figures that have been produced in virtually ever major pop culture license (and many, many obscure ones).
Personally, I love them, and unlike some friends of mine, I have a very small collection. SuperHeroStuff has a small variety of carefully selected Pops that focus on the cape and tights variety of characters.
SuperHeroStuff has more than shirts and Pops!. Among their wares are hats, hoodies, underwear, socks, action figures, stickers, buttons, belts wallets, cardboard standups, jewelry and much more including large selections for women and children.
And if you’re interested in staying up to date, they just got in the entire line of Suicide Squad Pops!
These are the ones I checked out:
Superman Pop Heroes Vinyl Figure
Batman Pop Heroes Vinyl Figure
Unlike Superman, Batman’s costume has been modified over the years simply through the stylistic influences of the artist working on the character. This take is pretty much what I call a modern-neutral and is reminiscent of the look first introduced by David Mazzucchelli in Batman: Year One.
Wonder Woman Funko Pop Vinyl Invisible Jet Figure
The Amazonian Princess completes the DC Universe’s trinity of crimefighters. This one is beyond awesome with a 4″ Wonder Woman and an Invisible Plane to sail to and fro from her home on Paradise Island to the man’s world where she is fighting for our rights, in her satin tights, and the old red, white and blue!
Batman Beyond Pop Vinyl Figure
This figure is ready to protect future Gotham City.
And your desk.
Firestorm Funko Pop Vinyl Figure
Power Girl Funko Pop Vinyl Figure
Two words: boob window.
She might have been originally created as the cousin of Superman from Earth 2, but at a certain point she became DC’s go-to cheesecake character. With the same powers as that of her Kryptonian cousin, Power Girl originally debuted in the Seventies DC Implosion, and continues to be reinterpreted as a strong female character for fans everywhere. And she has a boob window, which keeps the feminists and misogynists happy.
Cyborg Funko Pop Vinyl Figure
Cyborg is currently the star of his own comic and founding member of the New 52 version of the Justice League. But that’s not my Cyborg.
My Cyborg is former football star Victor Stone who was hurt in an accident in his father’s lab and brought back to life as a part man/part machine founding member of writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez’s New Teen Titans. This is that Vic Stone, best friends with Gar Logan and all around super-hero (without any Fourth World technology in his system.)
Titans, Together!
