This anthology series continues on here!

The first issue had some really great stories and artwork. The same holds true for this issue. These are short little bites of story that work incredibly well. There is also some top notch creators working on this!

The first story is called “Own.” It is written by Steven T. Seagle and drawn by Duncan Rouleau.

The story takes place at a Smallville Diner.  We get to see the people of the cafe talk about Superman and his various deeds. Seagle and Rouleau do a great job and it has a surprise ending.

Writer Chuck Brown and artist Denys Cowan are next and they take us on a different kind of Superman story than normal.

Val Zod, the Superman of Earth 2 goes on a space adventure against Prometheus.  It is well written and the art by Cowan is some of the best that this book has seen.

Writer and artist Dan Panosian gives us the next story which is pure awesomeness.

This one features one of the best fights between Superman and Lex Luthor that I have seen in quite some time. I absolutely loved this story. Well done.

Stephanie Phillips writes one heck of a nice story yet with Marley Zarcone on art.

It takes place in an elementary school. It shows how you  kids view Superman and it is a breath of fresh air. I loved this story very much as well.

Finally, Jason Howard writes and draws a story about the Cyborg Superman that is very well done.

This was a nice story from a perspective we don’t see too often and it gives us a new take on the character.

This is great. The whole issue is. I hope this series never ends.

RATING: A
