This has been a nice little treat.
It is only too bad that this is a limited series. The creative team really knows how to handle this group. The stories are great and the characterizations are off the charts. This is the Suicide Squad that I have wanted since the 1980’s run!
This particular issue is all hyped up as the death of Deadshot.
Basically, the Suicide Squad has been tasked with ending his life! Automatically, I was interested to see how the creative team was going go handle this. I was not in the least bit disappointed.
At the beginning of the issue, we see some trouble going on in the ocean. It is an eerie beginning.
Then, we dead Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot making peace with his daughter. He doesn’t have much time as he has to head over to another very important meeting.
Floyd meets up in an office building with Superman. It is a cute scene as he has a magazine Superman is featured in. He asks for Superman’s autograph.
After that, Task Force X really comes after Deadshot. Will they succeed in killing him?
The creative team does a great job of answering this question. Tom Taylor keeps the script fresh and fun. The artwork by Bruce Redondo is very good as well and tells the story extremely well.
Overall, this is a great comic book and the creative team tells a very good story here.
