‘Snow Angels: Season Two #3’ (review)

Written by Jeff Lemire
Art by Jock
Published by ComiXology

This has been quite an adventure thus far.

The story of a family in a post apocalyptic landscape is proving itself to be very interesting with each passing issue. I love what the creative team has been doing and this has been a lot of fun.

The issue starts out at a really dark place for the characters.

The two girls Millie and Mae have been taken by the Keepers and are stuck with them. They are learning about the Keepers and their way of life and what their purpose is.

They also learn what part these Keepers have played in making the world what it is today. They also realize there is a big lie going on here that isn’t going to hold up much longer. We get to see the girls react to that.

From there, we get to see what part the Snowman is going to play in future proceedings. Then, there is a twist that I didn’t see coming. It pretty much sets up the rest of the books run.

The story by Lemire is good. I really like his work here as it is very well thought out. The art by Jock is pretty impressive as well. His work just seems to be getting better.

Overall, this is another nicely done issue of this limited series.

RATING: A
