SDCC: First Clip From DREDD Is Bloody Awesome!

Even now, over a dozen years since I saw Stallone take off his helmet and hang out with Rob Schneider, I get a wave of nausea when I think about it.

Then again, it was a different time.  Batman had nipples.

Thankfully, someone got it together and did Judge Dredd right.  Karl Urban provides the necessary sneer that is instantly reminiscent of Brian Bolland’s detailed linework.

And at least based on the clip below, Dredd looks like a blast.  Literally.
