‘Rorschach #11’ (review)

Written by Tom King
Art by Jorge Fornes
Published by DC Comics

This has been an amazing series. Tom King has really pushed the script of the series to become his best writing work yet. Honestly, this is a dense piece of work that is quite excellent. I love what the creative team has brought us as a whole thus far with this book.

The Detective of the book is still piecing things together as this book opens up. We get to see some of the plot lines of the previous issues start to narrow down a bit. It is the penultimate issue and King is starting to close in on the mystery central to the book.

We get to see Rorschach and Laura and how this all relates to the very first issue. We get to see how they planned to take out a presidential candidate and what their bigger plan might have been. We get some questions answered for sure in this issue.

The Detective also investigates the crime scene. We get to see what all of the clues we have been given up to now tell us. We get to see the impact of everything that has happened thus far in the book. We also get to see what might be coming down the pike for these characters.

Again, the story is definitely King’s best writing work to date. The artwork by Jorge Fornes is undeniably great too. Each image in this book is powerful and Fornes is one of the best artists in the field. This is a well made book and I can’t wait to see how it all ends.

RATING: A
