ROBERT SCHIMMEL (1950-2010)

Robert Schimmel has passed away after being injured this week in very serious car accident.

Schimmel, who is one of my favorite comedians has had his share of personal troubles including cancer, a heart attack, a divorce, the loss of his son, and most recently being on a waiting list for a new liver after being diagnosed with cirrhosis as the result of a Hepatitis C infection from a blood transfusion that he received while in the Air Force.

Nevertheless, Schimmel was able to turn all of his pain into humor and Forces of Geek extends it’s condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.

Please let this man make you laugh by watching some of his work after the jump.
