Hidden Camera Greatness

Ever since convincing my parents I needed to buy a VHS camcorder with my Bar Mitzvah money, I’ve been taping the people in my life.

If there was a family gathering, a sporting event or really no reason at all, you can guarantee I had that bulky camcorder on my shoulder.

Of course, in the majority of the footage there’s always a point where someone (usually my mom) gets annoyed at being on camera and pulls a Russell Crowe.

So, I learned pretty early on how to be more ninja with my documenting, and as the cameras got smaller the cameras kept rolling.

Last week, I was able to capture some gems from my 94 year old Grandpa Moe, who was also the star of my short documentary IT’S ALL LUCK a couple years ago.

In this compilation, you’ll discover the wit and wisdom of Moe Goldman over a variety of topics, including Egg McMuffins, Politics, Debt, Sarah Palin, The Girl With The Tattoo On Her Ass, Golden Corral, Charity, Routine, Parking, Window Cleaners, Liquor, Meal Timing, Television, Gratitude, and the Funniest Thing That Happened in the Service.

I’d say this is my masterpiece of Cinéma vérité.
