The HULK Is Still Planned To Smash Television Ratings in 2013

After stealing the show in this summer’s The Avengers, it looks like the jade goliath is headed to television in Fall 2013.

ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee told reporters that the Guillermo del Toro-developed series, that, “Hulk is in development.  It wasn’t going to be ready this season but we hope it’s going to be ready for next season.”

He also revealed that The Punisher was recently adapted by ABC Studios, and Fox gave a put pilot commitment to with Criminal MindsEd Bernero that didn’t move forward.

Previously, Marvel EVP and Head of Television, Jeph Loeb described the premise of the series, “This is a story that will focus on the early days of the Hulk when people didn’t know about his terrible secret and enormous power. We’ll be focusing on the love story between Bruce Banner and Betty Ross, how the two are brought together and continuously torn apart by the monster within.”
