There’s no denying Haley Joel Osment’s talent.
Headlining The Sixth Sense, A.I. Artificial Intelligence and the underrated Secondhand Lions, Osment disappeared from the screen for the past several years, graduated New York University and now is back in a potentially big way.
According to Variety, Osment will star in the film adaptation of Steve Niles’ horror comic series Wake The Dead to be directed by Jay Russell.
In the film Osment will play college student Viktor Franklin, a college student experimenting with reversing death. Things don’t go well.
The film is the first for producer Slasher Films, the new company founded by Michael Williams, Rob Eric and guitarist Slash. The script will be written by Russell and Jim Hart.
Wake The Dead is one of several Frankenstein themed films in development.
