This has to be one of the most boring new series out there.
I was trying to find something good in this issue and it is pretty much next to impossible. The creative team is not doing too well with the characters and the whole thing feels like an unnecessary mess.
John Stewart is stuck in the Dark Sector with no rings and he is completely out of options.
He also has his back against the wall as he is fighting back against foreign invaders. Things aren’t looking too good for him.
The Central Power Battery is dead.
Things aren’t looking too good for John. But he has to form a plan. He has to gather the surviving Green Lanterns and he has to bring them home.
Can John do it? The results from this are pretty boring.
We also get a chance to see Far Sector’s Jo Mullein join the fray. Jo has to go up against a series of dangers on the planet OA in order to help out.
Can Jo do it? Or is everything just going to go to hell in a hand basket?
The story is uninspired. It just feel like the writer went through the motions. The artwork is okay but nothing special.
This feels like a weak moment in the Green Lantern characters history. I wish it had more going on to it than this.
