The Future State books have been fairly interesting to say the least.
I thought they were going to suck but I have to say that I have been entertained. This book is another Future State title that I have enjoyed very much. I hope these books and characters have a future beyond just this event.
This book takes place in Gotham City where something named the Magistrate has taken over the city.
At the beginning of the issue, we see that a bullet train is being loaded with people. Something terrible is happening, and we quickly find out just what it is.
Apparently, these people are being taken to a reformation facility. They are going to be processed. There are also innocent children on board the train.
That is when Catwoman rushes into action to both stop the train and to insure that it never makes it ls destination!
There is a lot of action in this book. It reminded me a bit of Snowpiercer, but I was honestly fine with it.
Catwoman does her best to navigate on the train and she eventually runs into some trouble. Can she fulfill her task or is she going to be just be instantly killed?
Ram V. is not my favorite writer but I have to say that this is a good script. The art by Otto Schmidt is the best part of the book, however. It is much stronger than I thought it would be and I enjoyed it very much.
This is a fun time.
