EMMA STONE Will Not Be In PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES, But Here’s 5 Actresses WHO COULD

Just a few days ago Emma Stone seemed to be attached to the adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel Pride And Prejudice And Zombies.

Now, Deadline reports that isn’t happening.

But, after the jump check out five actresses who would be fantastic in the part.

Gemma Arterton

Pros: British, Bond Girl.

Cons: Starring in Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters and might want to show off her range more.

Jane Austin or Zombie Connection: Appeared in two episodes of the series, Lost in Austen.

Emily Blunt 

Pros: British, Extremely talented and respected.

Cons: Majority of genre work is limited to her running away.

Jane Austin or Zombie Connection: Co-starred in The Jane Austen Book Club.

 

Anna Kendrick

Pros: Academy Award Nominee for Up In The Air.

Cons: Hasn’t really impressed since that nomination.

Jane Austin or Zombie Connection: No zombies, but has appeared in the Twilight franchise.

Abbie Cornish

Pros: Fantastic in Bright Star and Limitless.

Cons: Appeared in Sucker Punch.

Jane Austin or Zombie Connection: None, but stars in former pop star, current zombie Madonna’s new film, W.E.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Pros: Geek and genre friendly ingénue.

Cons: Appearing in Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.  Too similar?

Jane Austin or Zombie Connection: No zombies, but monster movie experience in the upcoming prequel to The Thing.
