Art by Joe Quinones
Published by DC Comics
This has been a decent enough book that is entering it’s final few issues. Sam Humphries has created two likable characters with Miguel and Summer. He has done a nice job of putting the characters through their paces.
There is always something fun and unique to see in this title.
Miguel and Summer are trapped in the Multiverse.
They are on the hunt for any remaining H Dials that are still around.
The different places that the duo travel to allows artist Joe Quinones to really go nuts on the art.
This is a delight as their environment changes with the art. It allows Quinones to do some different styles on the art too which is really cool to see.
Miguel and Summer come across a being that they think is Superman but is really called the Supermartian.
Then, they see a bevy of heroes, all of which are a take on a classic DC superhero. Some of the takes are very funny (my favorite was the take on the Doom Patrol).
Eventually, Miguel and Summer come across one of the H Dials. They eventually come across a villainous character. This character makes Miguel wonder if he should use the H Dial one more time. By the end of the issue, he makes a tough decision. It is a very cool last page as well as we see the results of that decision.
This book is highly fun. It does get a tad boring sometimes as it does meander a bit. But for the most part, it is a decent book with some cool art. I am interested to see how the creators tie it all up.
