Crazy 4 Cult: Cult Movie Art (book review)

For the past few years in Los Angeles, the annual Crazy 4 Cult art show displays dozens of pieces of amazing pop-culture/cult movie inspired work.

Thankfully, the folks at Titan Books have assembled an indispensible collection of art from the first four years of the show; pieces that actually have been bought by the likes of Kevin Smith (who provides the book’s introduction), Joss Whedon, Edgar Wright, JJ Abrams and Guillermo del Toro.

The 176 page book is a literal treasure trove for both the art and movie fan.  I’ve looked at the book several times already and my only criticism is that it wasn’t released as a poster book with the prints within suitable for framing.

Highly recommended and a must have for any art/design fan or cinegeek.

After the jump, check out several of my favorite images from the book.
