‘Catwoman #35’ (review)

Written by Ram V

I have been liking this series more and more as it goes on, it only slightly.

It has moved into a direction that is interesting enough. It doesn’t have as much action as I might have hoped for but it works overall for the most part.

This issue ties in with the Fear State storyline currently going on in the Batbooks. The issue here starts us off by showing the Strays going around Alleytown and generally causing some havoc. They may have bitten off more than they can chew however.

We get to see that the Magistrate isn’t too happy with them.

The Strays disable the Magistate’s way to communicate. They replace it with their own network of sorts. This caused the Magistate to go rather crazy trying to track them down.

Harley Quinn believes that Catwoman is the key to help her and the Gardener retrieve Poison Ivy. So we get to see Harley make her way to Catwoman to try to get out of this mess. A lot of craziness ensues from here.

The story by Ram V is very decent. It is interesting to see the different dynamics of the Fear State story and where the characters are going.

Overall, this is a bit of fun and adds another layer to the overall crossover event.

RATING: B
