IMAX has announced it will host an IMAX Exclusive Ghostbusters: Afterlife Fan Event on Friday, November 19th 5pmPST/8pm EST at 20 theaters nationwide. Fans are invited to join a pre-screening show which will include the opportunity to submit questions to the film’s co-writer & director Jason Reitman. At the beginning of the screening fans at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Los Angeles will be greeted in person by Jason, where they will also talk about the over 300 easter eggs hidden in the film. The livestream will simultaneously pipe into the 19 additional IMAX theaters for those audiences attending. Fans will also have the chance to submit questions for Jason via a custom Twitter hashtag (#IMAXGhostbustersFanEvent), and to also submit to win prizes.
From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe.
In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. The film is written by Gil Kenan & Jason Reitman.
And we’re giving away 5 pairs of tickets to see this spectacular event on Friday, November 19th at the AMC Boston Common at 8pm.
