‘Batman/Superman 2021 Annual #1’ (review)

Written by Gene Luen Yang
Art by Francesco Francavilla, Paul Pelletier
Published by DC Comics

This is the epilogue of the latest and last major story arc of this title.

Honestly, I completely loved how this story worked and I am almost sad that this title has been canceled. It really worked well and I loved the story.

We get to see Batman and Superman pick up the pieces of the last story. They have been put through time and space have to finally come to terms of where they are. But as for their counterparts on other Earths?

Well , we get to see them live on in a way with this book. The World of the Knight and the World of Tomorrow live on here. We get to see the ramifications of the recent storyline on these two worlds. The cast of characters have bigger problems now to deal with then they thought!

The cool thing about this book is that it is a flip book. The two stories on each side of the book work towards each other of each story moves on. When they finally meet, the results are awesome. This is truly just fantastic how it is done.

Gene Luen Yang is a good creative force. He writes a great story with a lot of invention. He is always at his best with creative ideas like this. The art by Paul Pelletier and Francesco Francavilla especially is great.

Overall, this is a well done issue.
